Racing Adventures  in Calgary

http://www.racingadventures.com/

Wednesday  and Thursday at Race City Raceway in Calgary with Racing Adventures and their Cobra Replicas.  The weather was great.

2000 lb Cobra Replicas, 225 hp, high torque monsters.  Mustang  302 Motors,
 No power steering or brakes.

I have never driven anything that made it so easy to tell what I was doing wrong.  The Cobras are set up perfect to let you know if you apex too early or too late. Or if you don't have the car settled before a hot corner.  The concept of a work zone is very clear in these cars.  They are balanced very well and handle exceptionally well.

This guy did some amazing stuff on his cycle.  I got some of it on 8mm.  He did wheelies with his legs over the front handle bars.  Sat backwards on the bike and drove it down the 1/4 mile.  Stood on the gas tank and rode it all the way down the 1/4 mile and down the shut down area.

Fly Fishing and Spinning gear fishing with Guide from Fish Tales on Sat

The Bow River was not as clear as the guides like due to run off.

27" Brown Trout caught on the Bow river.

Note to Fish Tales guys...  I used "Reggie gear" to catch him and the 3 other browns.

Guide was Aaron Campbell I met him through Fish Tales.
Do ya think Aaron would have a bigger smile on his face if I had used a Fly rod ?

The Fly gear only got me this, barely a handful of Rainbow.
